Cancer communications for the 21st century

Cancer communications for the 21st century

The ICP and eCancer led one of the biggest studies of cancer communication across the EU (EUROCANCERCOMS) which ended in 2013.

Following this we have continued with a variety of sub-projects to examine policy issues around patient communication (ongoing) and the development of an ‘information is beautiful’ (infographics) approach to cancer intelligence.

We are also undertaking a preliminary deep log analysis of how cancer information is searched on the web, building on previous studies of the media reporting of cancer and linking this to the work we are doing on patients, cancer and the internet.
