Global cancer surgery

In collaboration with the European Society for Surgical Oncology the ICP completed a major study of global cancer research activity in 2012.In 2013 in collaboration with Lund and Harvard this program was expanded into the Lancet Commission on Global Surgery. This two year program will study the public policy of delivering equitable cancer surgery in low and middle income settings and will report in April 2015. The ICP is also leading a collaboration for the Lancet Oncology on the State of Global Cancer Surgery for 2015
